Pennsylvania: Allentown Pennsylvania Restaurant

In another move that chips away at the state's stranglehold on beer and liquor sales, Sheetz Inc. has been cleared to sell takeout beer at its super-sized convenience store and restaurant in Altoona.
The president of a Cookeville restaurant company has pleaded guilty to one count of sales tax fraud, the state Department of Revenue said Monday. Erich Wilhelm Reiser, president of Cosmopolitan Grill Inc., was indicted by a Putnam County grand jury last summer on 13 counts of sales tax fraud.
